The Common comprised of open space and woodlands to the west of the village. A range of pathways lead up from the High Street to the Common and beyond

The Village Community Garden, was once known as the Memorial Garden originally. Recently restored to its former glory by our village warden Paul and two dedicated residents Alan and his wife Ann. We own them a great deal of gratitude for their hard work. You are more than welcome to enjoy the garden throughout the year and if you would like to help maintain it, they always need volunteers. Look out for Volunteers Day on the first friday of each month
