Our Lunch Club meets nearly every Tuesday in the village. The meals, which comprise a main course (typically meat and two vegetables) and a dessert, followed by tea or coffee, are provided from a centre in Hemel Hempstead. As a member of the Club, you are expected to attend regularly. Currently, the Club has about 25 members. Transport can be arranged for those who need it. Members pay a charge each week to cover the cost of the meal, of hiring the venue and of other incidental costs. The Club is run by a group of volunteers who carry out all the necessary tasks to ensure that the diners are able to enjoy their meals in a relaxed atmosphere.
