About the Activity

We have been actively collecting artefacts and documents concerning Kings Langley and Chipperfield for 50 years, and have built up an impressive collection. We own a vast collection of photographs and have access to many more. Our collection is partly housed in the Library, where it is accessible to the public by arrangement. We are committed to establishing a museum in the district to display our collection, in an attractive manner, accessible to the public. The Society is in the process of raising funds to achieve this. We organise social events, sponsored walks, and other fund-raising events. We also arrange a programme of evening talks which currently take place at the Kings Langley Community Library, The Nap. If you would like to help with the work of this Society on an occasional or regular basis, we would be very pleased to hear from you. We would be most grateful for any photos, postcards or other local memorabilia that you would like to donate, or allow us to copy. You can view the collection by appointment only. Please contact us for further detailsl
